Hanley Ramirez...It is time to start noticing him

Hanley Ramirez is a young man. Dont underestimate him or he will steal you blind...of bases that is. The thing is though that many people havent even noticed him. That is like someone winning the world series for his team but nobody knowing who that person is. The point i am trying to get at is that Hanley Ramirez is Playing shortstop with the calibur of Derek Jeter, Jose Reyes, and Rafael Furcal. And plus he is one fast son of a gun.

Hopefully people will start noticing him.

Nuggets Vs Warriors....A fight for a spot

Yesterday. Many words describe what went on Yesterday. Epic, hard fought, Fast paced. All of those words describe it perfectly. A war for a spot was being fought for yesterday. Do you know what that spot was for? A spot in the NBA Finals. A win would mean one spot closer to gaining intry. A win would one step closer to your goal. A Win Would mean Satisfaction.

A Battle, not a game, a battle went down between the Denver Nuggets and the Golden State Warriors.

First Quarter: Slams were being thrown down, Jumpshot were being taken, and not much defense was shown. Allen Iverson would go for a layup, and then Monta ellis would make a nasty (good) jump shot. By the end of the first quarter in this battle the score was 37-22 with the Warriors with the lead.

Second Quarter: The Warriors Had already counted their victory, BUT....the battle was'nt over. As in the first quarter, shots, dunks, Swissh. This time, the hero of the quarter was Carmello Anthony with some Viscious Dunks and Some Nasty Jumpshots, and Monta Ellis didnt do so hot this round but, Al Harrington scored 10 points and 5 rebounds alone. By the end of the Second quarter of this battle, the The Denver Nuggets had scored 39, which made their score a total of 61. The Warrior had scored 23 making theirs a total of 60. The Warriors had lost the lead.

Third Quarter:  Mostly Jumpshots were scored in this quarter making both Monta Ellis and Baron Davis Deadly in this quarter of the battle.Or so you may think. Carmello Anthony, J.R. Smith, and Allen Iverson all pulled rabbits out of the hat. By the end of this stage in the battle, The Denver Nuggets had scored 28 points giving them a total of  89 points. The Warriors had only scored 23 giving them a total of 83.

Fourth Quarter: The Battle was coming to a close and the game then became fierce. Shot after shot was made, Until finally the clock ran out. The Denver nuggets had scored 25 making their Final Score 114. The Warriors scored 23 which made their final score106.
The war was over, the Nuggets had won and were now one step closer to there goal.

Allen Iverson was the Key player in the game.
Denver Nuggets' Allen Iverson (3) shoots over Golden State Warriors' Andris Biedrins, of Latvia, during the first half of an NBA basketball game Thursday, April 10, 2008, in Oakland, Calif. Denver won 114-105.
he scored 33 points in the game, had 3 rebounds, and 9 assists.

Monta Ellis was the Key Player for the Warriors
scoring 29 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists

Can the Cubs end the torment.

100 years......100 years.....100 years.  Those are the words echoing through the mind of the cubs. Thats right folks 100 years since their last world series win. The question that is on everyones mind in Chicago this year is "can the cubs end this drought?". My Prediction is Maybe. It depends if their players stay healthy. They have a good team all around, adding a bunch of young talent in the offseason.

Look for the Cubs to do at least better than they did las year.

Brett Farve...Not Done For Good??

Well in the football world, Brett Farve announced that he will retire. A couple of weeks later rumors said that he is not done for good. I think that Brett Farve is going to pull a Roger Clemons.......Well without the steroids of course. Brett Shouldnt retire without at least two more tries at the Superbowl ring.

I like Brett Farve, He is an Old Fasioned quarterback. He should not, however say he is retiring and then start saying he is coming back, because we all dealt with that in baseball and we all know how that ended.

Well, we will just see what happens.

Kansas City Failed

Kansas City attempted a major task yesterday. They tried to sweep the yankees. The task was failed as the Yankees beat the Royals 6-1.

Nice Try Royals.

Corey Patterson...PRIME TIME MAN

What are they putting in the gatorade given to the players in Cincinnati, that isnt in the Chicago Cubs gatorade or the Baltimore Orioles gatorade. It has to be either that or Corery Patterson is finally in his prime. Last Season, Corey Patterson Hit Just 8 Home Runs in 132 games, and hit 16 in 135 games in the year before that. This Year, he has already hit Half of the amount last year, and one fourth of the homeruns in the year before that. If you havent figured it out yet, ill tell you. He has hit 4 homeruns. The Exciting part is that he has only Played 8 games. By the end of this season, if he continues on this streak, he should have about 40 homers.

The Panther's Offseason Heat

The Panthers, Like the Steelers, Had Some Bad Moments in the Offseason, such as deciding whether ot keep Julius Peppers or not. In the end they decided to keep him in the end, but the suspense was bone crushing. Another bad moment was when they had to release Justin Hartwig (now a Pittsburgh Steeler)  to make room in the line.

Like the Steelers again, They Re-signed. Julius Peppers was there only player re-signed, and what a re-signing it was.

The Panthers also picked up some awesome players from Free Agency. Among these were Terrence Holt (not Torry Holt), D.J. Hackett, and Toniu Fonoti.

The Panthers, i believe, are going to do good this year.

Pittsburgh Steelers...Offseason Heat

The Pittsburgh Steelers had a Bumpy offseason, such as DavenPort being acquitted on a domestic violence charge, for an accusation of Hitting a women by the Name of Anita Person. Another Bad thing for the Steelers offseason was when Cedrick Wilson was falsely accused of hitting his Ex-Girlfriend. When Wilson was Falsely accused, The Pittsburgh Steelers Released him.

On the Bright side, some Pittsburgh Steelers were Re-signed. Chris Kemoeatu, Trai Essex, and Greg Warren were among the players whom the Steelers Re-signed.

Some Free-Agents were signed by the Steelers as well. Justin Hartwig and Anthony "Booger" Mcfarland were among these.

Look for the Pittsburgh Steelers to Improve in the future.

ROYAL POWER

In the MLB, there is one team who has made a drastic change in the season compared to last season. This team is the Kansas City Royals. The Royals went from getting sweeped in their opening week, to sweeping their first two opponents this season. Their batting average in the first month of their past three seasons combined, hasnt been as good as this years alone.

The Kansas City Royals are now looking to cause an upset and try to sweep the all powerful New York Yankees.

I will keep you updated on this.

The Penguins Destroy the Senators.

In The First Game of the Series, the Penguings Beat the Senators. The Final Score Was
4-0. Sidney Crosby had a good showing in the penguin's shutout. Sidney Crosby dominated the game, outskating the senator's skaters down the Ice.

Look for the penguins to be Stanley Cup Contenders

The NHL Playoffs Unleashed.

Tonight begins a special tradition in hockey. The Playoffs. The Playoffs is a time for players to prove themselves, and make true heroes of themselves. Remember only one can win.

The regular season had ended on a good note. Keith Tkachuk of the Blues had scored his 500th Career goal in his last game.

My Predictions for the NHL Playoffs is that Nashville Predators (my team) will be the Winner.

Kobe or Tracy.

The Rockets and The Lakers are two major NBA FINALS contenders. Personally, i think one of them will win it, but if i am wrong, ill apologize later.

here are some reasons i think each team will win:

Rockets: They have a well rounded roster, Yao Ming should be healthy by then, and they got one of the best scorers in the NBA today.

Lakers: They have Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, and one of the Top 2 MVP candidates...KOBE BRYANT.

The Infamous Fenway Hawk.

On April 4, 2008 a red-tailed hawk was flying over Fenway Park (Boston Red Sox stadium). The hawk then started to drop, and swooped into the stands and attacked a 13 year old girl name Alexa Rodriguez (no relation to yankee's player Alex Rodriguez). They got the hawk to fly away but, the crisis was not over.

On April 8, 2008, the fans spotted a red-tailed hawk flying over the stadium. It appeared to be the same hawk that attacked the little girl. Fans laughed and pointed in delight.

looks like the Red Sox have a new mascot.

Chris Paul...The Soon to be 2008 MVP

Chris Paul. Many words could describe the season he has had, let alone his young career.
He has already won the Rookie of the Year award. At Point guard you have to have many good attributes. Chris Paul and Baron Davis are simular in many ways. They Both Know how to make some really good assists, and they both know how to score.

Chris paul has had an awesome season. He has scored 21.5 points per game, 4.0 rebounds per game, 11.5 assists per game, 2.7 steals per game, he has shot a .491 Field Goal percentage, and has shot a .853 Free throw percentage. Those are some really good numbers.

I think Chris Paul is going to have to make room on his Trophy case, For the MVP award

Look For more of chris paul in the future

Orioles have been eating their Vitamins

On The Date of Tuesday 8, 2008.. The Baltimore Orioles and the Texas Rangers faced off both hoping to out do the other. Frankly, Texas Had no chance...Because apparently Baltimore had Had their morning juice and vitamins before going into the game.

The starter for the Orioles was Brian Burres, who went 7 innings and only allowed 1 run.

There is only one way to put this. The Texans were outdone in everything in this game.
Pitching, Hitting, and Fielding...Everything just seemed to go smoothly for the Orioles.

we can only see what happens next.

Baron Davis.....Big Numba man

Baron Davis has had a great season this year. He has averaged 22.0 points per game,
7.6 assists a game, and 2.8 steals a game.

In his previous game against the Denver Nuggets... he scored 28 points, Had 7 assists, and had 2 steals. Those are some pretty good numbers...actually those are some really good numbers considering who they are playing.

Baron Davis has all the good makings of a point guard. He is quick, he can score, and he passes the ball..

I am not saying Point Guards like steve nash, Chris paul, and Deron Williams arent good.
I am just saying that this has been a really good season for Baron Davis.

Keep it up Baron

Ricky Davis of the Miami Heat

Since coming to the Miami Heat....Ricky Davis has been nothing but trouble to his opponents.  In the Future look for him to become a franchise player...i just though i would give a little respect and a little shout out...to my man, Ricky Davis

Two Major BallParks to be torn down at the end of the season

Soo much history in both Shea Stadium and Yankee Stadium...it is a shame to see that. I am more sad for the mets because i am more of a mets fan than a yankees fan....but i still feel kinda bad for the yankees too since Thousands of memories have been made in the park....

Just thought i would say some words in a tribute to the Ballparks.

Derek Jeter Is Hurt.

I am not one of those big Yankees fans, but i do like Derek Jeter as a player. He is an Awesome contact hitter, and an even better shortstop. But Now that he is hurt, will it effect the Fielding at all. I personally think it wont hurt the Yanks that much. It might hurt a bit, but the yanks have plenty of well rested, young utility players who would love to get off the bench, and into the game.

GET WELL JETER..
